With Guest Instructor
Michael Dupille

This is the real deal, and a rare find. Board carving and casting, plaster molds - open face and multiple part, positives and negatives, rubber, resins, polyurethane, plasticine, clays, shell slumps, inclusions, casting billets and more. Michael Dupille is a master. He has taught his techniques all over the United States and worked for ten years developing his own mold materials and matching primer (now available) to give cast glass a "baby-butt smooth" finish. There will be an emphasis on all phases of casting for production -- utilizing resins and polyurethane materials to duplicate original models. With no undercuts these molds can be reused a number of times. Learn how to create custom production pieces, reproducible over and over -- or each slightly different. Use the materials to create one-of-a-kind works of art. We're talking 3-dimensional now -- the sculptural side of glass! Michael has created a fact-packed and very hands-on workshop that will give you very real insight and a solid foundation in these materials and techniques. He has a friendly, informal teaching style and plays golf with a glass putter - what more can you ask for?
