Come learn the fascinating art of glass fusing for your self!
This half - day introductory workshop focuses on the basics of
design, fusing and kiln forming -- with an emphasis on incorporating
various metals into the glass. Working in a beautiful artist - built
studio situated on fifteen wonderful acres just east of Redmond,
you'll be provided with all tools, instruction, materials,
cookies as needed and a beautiful array of glass colors to choose
from. After learning how to safely handle and cut glass our first
project is a tile. While we watch these tiles fuse (melt) we design
and create our main project - a plate or bowl combining glass and
metal that you will cherish forever.
